Offerings & Gatherings

  • EMBODIED YOGA (online)

    TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS @ 12PM

    (with 36 hour recording access)

Join Brenda for a mindfulness based online class (with a recording available if you can’t make it live) meant to ground and relax our nervous systems. This is a great class for anyone wanting a more embodied practice, for those who struggle with anxiety, depression and/or stress, or for those who are dealing with an injury or illness.

  • SOMAYOGA: REST, BREATHE, RESTORE

    SATURDAYS 10-11AM

In this class, we will focus on somatics, breathwork (pranayama), hip & heart openers & finding a deeper state of rest and relaxation. Much of this class will be on the floor with support of props. A lovely way to connect with our Soma (mind/body/spirit), reset our nervous system, and honor what’s needed to live the fullest version of our lives.

  • SONG CIRCLE

    SUNDAY APRIL 6TH @ 2PM

We come together for a unique and soul-full gathering of song, poetry and community.

No experience or musical background is required. Please pre-register on the classes page.

All donations benefit a local charity.

  • GIRL'S CIRCLE

    SUNDAY APRIL 13TH, 1-3PM

Girls ages 9-14 are invited to come together each month to form a strong circle of connection, creativity and support.

This month we will be gathering for a special volunteer project. We will be meeting at Hope Blooms, a local non-profit that makes and delivers fresh floral bouquets to those in need.

  • THERAPEUTIC MOVEMENTS FOR THE TRUNK

    MONDAYS IN MARCH, 6:30-7:30PM

Our trunk acts as the hub of the body.  It is wrapped in a supportive layer of superficial and deep core muscles, topped off by the diaphragm and grounded by the pelvic floor.  The state of these muscles significantly influences our breathing, twisting, bending, and overall posture. They also play a key role in the fluidity of our shoulder and hip movements. We will enhance our sense of balance and stability, ultimately empowering ourselves to move with greater confidence and grace.

  • DEATH CAFE

    SUNDAY APRIL 27TH @ 4PM

Death Cafe is an opportunity to talk openly about life, death and grief. This is not a support group but rather a safe space to have meaningful discussions about things that matter.

Join us for conversation, tea and cake! Donations are welcome but not required.

  • DRUM & SOUND HEALING

    SUNDAY MAY 4TH @ 2PM

Working with sound in a healing way helps to explore and express what you're feeling through active meditation. We will be using frame drums (but any drum will do) as well as connecting with other forms of sound healing. We are built for sound, since we are made up of 70% water. Drumming not only awakens the spirit, it integrates the nervous system through vibration and allows us to activate a state where we can rest, digest, and heal. All donations benefit a local charity.

  • WOMEN'S CIRCLE

    TUESDAY APRIL 22ND @ 6:30PM

We are a monthly circle focused on building sacred, meaningful connection.  We know on a deep level that women coming together knits together the very fabric of a healthy, vibrant society. Sitting in circle, sharing our truth and trusting the mystery are ancient practices that were nearly lost. But now, we revive this ancient art and practice of circling. We gather together in circle to re-member, to see and feel our power.

  • THERAPEUTIC MOVEMENTS FOR THE NECK & SHOULDERS

    MONDAYS IN APRIL, 6:30-7:30PM

Through gentle biomechanical and yoga movements, we will explore the dynamics of your neck and shoulders, as well as their interplay with your breath. We will identify habits that may contribute to discomfort and enhance your awareness of compensatory movements in your daily routine. This increased awareness empowers you to move and be with greater ease. All levels welcome; some of the practice will take place on the floor.

  • DANCE PARTY

    NEXT DATE TBA!

We come together to dance. It’s that simple.

  • THERAPEUTIC MOVEMENTS FOR THE LEGS & HIPS

    MONDAYS IN MAY, 6:30-7:30PM

By integrating yoga with biomechanical movements, we will delve into the dynamics of your hips and legs, examining how they interact with one another and the rib cage. This practice aims to identify and minimize compensatory movements, leading to greater comfort in the hips, knees, ankles, and feet. You will leave the class with more confidence in your balance and increased ease in walking, hiking and biking. All levels welcome; some of the practice will take place on the floor.

  • PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS

If you’re wanting more individualized support consider a one-on-one session in person at ecce or online. Using the tools of yoga, reiki, meditation, mindfulness and nervous system regulation we will work together to meet your current needs. Available in person or online.

For more info email Brenda at ecceyoga@gmail.com.

The only true life we will live in this world is the life we consent to live in relationship, messy and entangled though it might be. The only fruit worth sharing with the world is the fruit we’ll produce together.
